Asbestos Awareness Training

HSE Compliant Asbestos Awareness Training Courses

There is a legal requirement for employers to provide asbestos awareness training for employees who may disturb asbestos during the course of their work. – Regulation 10 of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 (CAR)

This requirement also extends to supervisors.

The asbestos awareness training should include instruction and demonstration, and should be given by a competent person.

Courses can be presented at a client’s own premises or at a JB-Monitor preferred venue.

Currently two half-day training courses are offered:

Module 1 – Basic Asbestos Awareness

Module 2 – Duty to Manage: Regulation 4 of the CAR
